The Lenovo X1 Carbon remains one of the best business laptops on the market. With a wide display panel selection, more 12th-Gen Intel processor choices, and new Full HD webcams that finally move past the middling 720p units of years ago, it’s hard not to recommend this model to any business user looking for a highly refined PC with a modern security feature set.

Default Camera Settings:

If you’re using a Lenovo X1 Carbon, you should know that the default camera settings are 720p. You can upgrade to higher resolutions or add an IR camera, which allows facial recognition for Windows Hello and makes signing in quick and easy.

Firmware Error:

If you’re running a Lenovo laptop that has a built-in camera, you may run into firmware errors with the driver. These error messages are often visible in the Device Manager or Windows Update.

The error message includes an NTSTATUS value and a human-readable text description. Users can use these values to solve the problem.

In most cases, the error occurs because the update was performed too quickly or the update is incorrect. So, the first step is to verify the version of the firmware that you’re trying to install is compatible with your system.

Another way to fix the error is to download a new version of the firmware from the manufacturer’s website. You can then install it manually on your computer.

So, if this doesn’t work, you can try to reinstall the camera driver through Device Manager or the manufacturer’s website. Alternatively, you can download driver updater software to scan your PC for outdated drivers and install them automatically.
