Xerox WorkCentre 6015 Driver Review:

The Xerox WorkCentre 6015 is an attractive, competent multifunction color laser printer. It prints 15 black pages and 12 color pages per minute, with the ability to be shared over a wired or wireless network.

Designed in off-white and blue, it’s a refreshing change from the usual greys seen on affordable MFPs. Print quality is excellent, with crisp, clear text and detailed, vibrant mono photos.

Printing:

The WorkCentre 6015 uses LED color printing and combine scanning, copying, and faxing in one neat little package. It’s a little expensive by cheap laser printer standards and print speeds could be quicker, but it’s an attractive machine with top-quality output.

Xerox claims the Workcentre can print 15 black pages and 12 color ones per minute. We managed 5.2ppm in our tests, but that’s still fairly fast for a multifunction device.

It’s easy to use, with a nice large screen and a good selection of management tools. The color scans are very high quality and the fax features are useful, with auto redial, delayed fax, last number redial, and more.

The printer has a very neat and tidy design, finished in off-white with dark blue used for the control panel and paper out-tray area. It’s a welcome change from the usual grey and black found on many affordable laser machines. The Xerox eConcierge software is simple to install and provides automatic supply monitoring and ordering.

It can also copy up to two pages at once and has a number of useful features, such as N-up and ID card copy for making copies from one side of an ID card onto another page, and book copy with spine shadow reduction and darkness control.

Its print quality is very good, with crisp, well-defined text and accurate colors. However, it took 20 seconds to produce a single black-and-white page from our test sheet, which is quite slow for a laser printer. This model is a good choice for anyone who wants a reliable multifunction color machine, but it is expensive to run, with black pages costing up to 19p and color ones 12p each.

Fax:

The built-in fax modem allows you to send and receive faxes directly from the device. It has a large capacity, 99-entry address book, memory receive (stores pages in memory if the paper is low), auto redial, junk fax barrier, and more.

Regulatory Information:

Xerox has tested this product to electromagnetic emission and immunity standards, designed to protect the environment and reduce the risk of exposure to wireless signals. The CE mark on this printer signifies that the product meets European Union requirements for electromagnetic compatibility.

VueScan is an application for scanning documents, photos, films, slides, and more on Windows and macOS. It supports a variety of scanners and can automatically detect the type of document you’re trying to scan. Its intuitive interface makes it easy to use. The program can also convert PDFs and JPEGs into editable formats such as TIFF, DOC, and PNG. Moreover, you can use it to scan to a computer using USB or over a network.

Copying:

When it comes to copying, the WorkCentre 6015 is a competent performer that offers top-quality output. It uses LED technology for printing and also provides scanning and faxing functions. Although print speeds could be better and running costs are relatively high, this is a good multifunction color laser printer for home office use.
