Xerox Phaser 3250 Driver

Xerox Phaser 3250 Driver:

Xerox Phaser 3250 Driver is a compact monochrome laser printer with a nice feature set. Although it has a basic control panel design consisting of just a button and several LEDs, the printer’s Web-based status monitor more than compensates for this by offering a lot of information on screen. The included auto duplexer is another excellent addition. PDF documentation is good and includes animated troubleshooting support.

Printing:

You can print documents from your computer or a networked device. Your printer has a high print speed that helps you get your job done quickly. It also comes with a large capacity paper tray to handle your printing needs. This machine can print on both sides of the page.

To set up your printer, follow the steps in the Quick Install Guide or the on-screen instructions that appear. Then, connect the power cord and turn on the machine. When the printer is ready, it prints a test page.

Before you start printing, you can change the font settings and adjust the toner save mode. You can also check the status monitor on your printer to see if the toner cartridge is empty or low. To maintain the printer, make sure you clean it regularly and replace it when needed. You can also purchase additional accessories to help you with your printing needs.

Copying:

Xerox makes a range of printers for all kinds of businesses. The Phaser 3250/DN sits at the bottom of its line, aimed specifically at smaller organisations. But that doesn’t mean it’s low-capacity: it can handle a very heavy workload with a maximum monthly duty cycle of 30,000 pages.

It also has some impressive speed and print quality for such a bargain-basement machine, posting midrange scores in our tests. On a plain text page, it came close to 30 pages per minute, while on graphics pages, it managed 7 ppm.

One minor annoyance, though: it has one of the worst paper tray designs we’ve ever seen. Its 250-sheet main tray is flimsy, and it collects the paper face down, so you need to carefully watch out for paper jams. The printer’s Web-based status monitor more than compensates for this, offering a lot of information on screen. PDF-based documentation is excellent, too, including animated troubleshooting support. Originally manufactured and marketed by Tektronix of Wilsonville, Oregon, Xerox acquired the brand in 2000.

Faxing:

Xerox offers one-touch, automated faxing for a variety of document types and sizes. This enables you to send and receive faxes directly from a PC or over the Internet. The Phaser 3250/DN can also send and receive e-mail, store and archive documents on an internal hard disk drive, or print from a USB or ftp server.

For added convenience, the Phaser 3250/DN offers a multipurpose tray that accomodates a variety of paper types and sizes. The paper capacity can be increased with an optional 250-sheet feeder. Moreover, the printer is ENERGY STAR qualified for energy efficiency.

This Xerox laser printer comes with a built-in Web server which allows users and IT staff to access detailed system information, manage features and consumables, and complete device setup via a standard browser. Additionally, the Xerox Phaser 3250/DN provides PostScript®3(tm) compatibility and PCL 6 emulation. Moreover, this printer is supported by a comprehensive one-year warranty and unmatched Xerox service and support.

Networking:

Xerox is one of the world’s largest developed companies, selling its print and document products and services in more than 160 countries. Its diversified portfolio includes color and monochrome laser printers, multifunction devices, and office equipment such as fax machines and copiers. The Xerox Phaser 3250/DN is a midrange laser that delivers excellent text and mediocre graphics quality, along with speed and an automatic duplexer. It’s an excellent choice for home offices or small workgroups with light printing demands. Its larger brother, the Xerox Phaser 3600/DN, is better suited to bigger print jobs and higher workloads. The Xerox Phaser 3250/DN costs less than both models, however.
